Check each message in 5 seconds

  1. Sender looks odd or slightly misspelled?

  2. Links go to strange domains? (Hover to preview.)

  3. Urgency or threats (“act now”)?

  4. Unexpected attachments?

  5. Requests for passwords/codes/money?

What to do

  • Verify via another channel (call the company using a known number).
